Indian equities extended their recovery in July’26, with Market performance reflecting a clear improvement in investor sentiments. While the Nifty 50 delivered a modest 2.4% return during the month, broader indices continued to outperform in medium to long term.
The Nifty Next 50, comprising the 50 largest companies outside the benchmark Nifty 50 and representing the next tier of large-cap stocks, led performance with a 3.0% monthly gain and an impressive 10.9% return over the past year, highlighting the growth potential within the broader large-cap universe.
Meanwhile Mid and small-cap segments maintained their momentum, reflecting improving earnings confidence and sustained domestic liquidity.
